This is a 2008 special 180-gram heavyweight copy of Boz Scagg’s self-titled album. Often referred to as one of the most underrated albums (and artists) of the 60s, Boz Scaggs blends together several genres to create an album like no other on his self-titled release. Accompanied by a then-unknown Duane Allman of The Allman Brothers, this was recorded at the famous Muscle Shoals recording studio, the mecca of southern blues music and the results of this influence are very clear. If you can’t get enough of 60s folk, this is an essential.
