National Bank of Portland Oregon Bronze Medal by Avard Fairbanks c.1929. Diameter: 2.75". Bronze medallion by noted American sculptor Avard Fairbanks (1897-1987)This has been used and loved. Used as a decorative/local vintage piece as well as a paperweight at one time. This has not been cleaned up and is a tad tarnished/darker in color. I'm sure this could clean up very well. Please see all pictures of the green spots/tarnish. On the edges show some wear and tear- knicks and indentation on the edges. Front and back normal light scuffs, scratches and line- nothing too horrible. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES. Front has a side profile, Says, Faith In Man And His Works. Avard Fairbanks Sc. 1929. The back says, The United States National Bank - Portland Oregon. Says, 'A Power Like That Of A Mighty Genil Who Stands Ready To Build Industries And Temples At The Call Of Man's Will'.
