Next vintage 90s terracotta Arts and crafts folk cotton shirt size 16 more like 12–14 Here we have an absolutely stunning little shirt, featuring a very vintage next ladies wear label,. I’m guessing this shirt was made in the 90s, it has very much the early 90s folk handcrafted look. As you can see it never dates and it’s so much superior quality to modern High Street clothing. This shirt is in excellent condition, no signs of wear that I can see. Labelled as a UK size 16, this comes up small for 16, so please refer to measurements and compare to a similar garment of your own to be sure of size. I’m a 14 to 16 and it comes up fitted on me, so I’m guessing it would best fit a UK size 12 if a classic roomier fit was preferred, or 14 for a more fitted look. The mannequin is a size 10 to 12 for reference. The fabric of this shirt is a light 100% woven cotton. Takes a machine wash up to 50°. Colours of this shirt feature Cream and navy floral design against a terracotta red background. Lovely warm colours that go particularly good with similar colours, beige and brown in particular. Other design details include high collared neck line with seven buttons to the front placket. Two chest pockets. Short sleeves. Otherwise the garment is as shown, the back is plain in design continuing the same print as the front. Measurements are as follows: armpit to armpit measurement: about 21.5 inches unstretched. Length of the garment from the nape of the neck to the bottom hem: 24.5 inches.
