Two Places At The Same Time is the third studio album from Raydio, the group led by session guitarist/songwriter/producer Ray Parker, Jr. Like the two albums that came before Two Places At The Same Time, the release featured eight tracks; one of them, "Until The Morning Comes" was written by Parker and vocalist Arnell Carmichael. For another song, "Tonight's The Night", Parker teamed up with famed keyboard player Herbie Hancock. Opening up this funk tour de force is the up-tempo and danceable, "It's Time To Party Now". Co-lead vocalist, the equally talented Arnell Carmicheal, with his distinguishable vocal style, performed sole lead vocal duties and it worked liked a charm. The show stopper of this magnificent opus is a track that is highly regarded as one of the best recordings in the history of funk music, the infectious "For Those Who Like To Groove."
