SANDCRAFT SHIFT PAWL –  1018 Billet Steel 1 piece Shift Pawl is the only solution that fixes and prevents a broken OE Roller Pawl caused by aggressive shift detent star. When the factory pawl breaks, debris will fall down into the transmission gears. In some cases, this debris will collect at the magnet, but in most cases it will severely damage the transmission. If you find steel roller and rivet debris at the magnet, your shift pawl is destroyed and needs to be replaced. If you don’t, you should replace the pawl before it breaks and potentially damages your transmission.
